Things you need to know about Starscream:
- Wants to be king.
- Ex-scientist. Which means that he can make a gun out of bubblegum and a toothpick.
- Still not king.
- Is actually a giant robot who can transform into a plane. Damn the movie, I'm sticking with the F-15 iterationeven if F-22s are sexy.
- Is trying very hard to be king.
- Is a coward. But is a smart coward, which means that he'll hide behind people long enough to stab them in the back, then use the bodies to climb to the top.
- Still not king.
Starscream hails from the same timeframe that Bumblebee does, which means the section labelled 'Animated Continuity' under the Transformers Wiki section. He does retain the slight problem of being unable to return to the Allspark - that is, even when destroyed, continues to wander around as a ghost. He doesn't know that yet, however, since he hasn't been blown up.
Arcadia History
Caught in the same, convenient, massive explosion of doom that Bumblebee (![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif)
generation_bug) was caught in, Starscream got thrown around the fabric of reality a little before being tossed up on Arcadia. After realising that he was completely lost and off the map, he promptly realised that he a) couldn't return home, b) was stuck on a dirtball with a lot of stupid humans.
Humans are easy to lord it over. Really. No challenge at all. Nope. What Starscream wants is the same thing that everyone else wants - he wants to go home. Except that he can and will do something about it. Being a scientist means that building a transport system back to Earth or Cybertron isn't a problem. What is the problem is a power source.
Fortunately, there are a bunch of humans on this dustball.
